Here’s a very easy serving tower that you can make today for around $5.00!
First, I found two plastic plates and a plastic cereal bowl from Target. They were on sale!!! Then, I found three glass candle sticks from the Dollar Tree – just $1 each, of course!
I grabbed my quick hold craft glue…
And the plates and bowl. I chose a square look so that it looked more modern, but you can really use any combination of plastic dinner ware that fits your style and needs!
I flipped the plates and bowl upside down and glued the top of each candle stick to the center-bottom of each piece.
Now, this is where I stopped gluing – so that the pieces would be easier to clean – they will fit in the dishwasher or easily in the sink and the glue is only on the bottoms of each piece and not near the tops where the food will be. I can also use each piece seperately or stack them in different ways, depending on my needs.
I stacked them up and we’re ready to go!
I think I’ll use it as a veggie tray first, with the dip in the top bowl.
Have you ever made a serving tower? I’d love to see it!
