So, I saw this great idea from an adorable blog called little nanny goat, and thought I’d take it on. Her version is with a super cute elaborate turquoise frame. I couldn’t find one for cheap, so off to IKEA I went to find an inexpensive version.
I found this pink frame for $1.99 – now that’s my kind of spending:)
I took out all of the insides and just used the pink part…
I picked three colors of grosgrain ribbon in different widths to glue from one side of the back of the frame to the other.
Does everyone’s glue gun look as “well worn” as mine? The other side is even worse:)
Continue gluing until all the ribbons are attached – mine looked like this…
I dressed up the frame a bit by adding stick-on rhinestones in the colors of the ribbon.
I hung it up so that the ribbons were vertical – that made more sense once I got it up on the wall – that way the bows hung correctly, duh!
That’s it – took me about 5 minutes to put together – so easy!
Now we have more room for more bows! Yay!!!
How do you store your little one’s bows?
