Here is a very easy way to jazz up your home with a little artistic flair! I used my cricut expressions 2, but even tracing and cutting vinyl would work, so everyone can do this!
I found an inexpensive frame at Target…
It was even on sale – yay!!!
I took out the back and insides and was left with the outside frame and the glass. I used some strong craft glue and glued the glass to the frame.
Then, I graabbed some vinyl that my sister gave me for Christmas. This brand is specific for the Cricut, but any vinyl will do!
I used the Cricut cartridge that came loaded on the machine and chose this tree for this project…
Since my frame was 8×10, I entered my paper size into the Cricut as 8×10 and had it fill my page with the image. After cutting out the image on the “vinyl-kiss cut” setting. I just peeled and stuck the image. Of course, it wasn’t really that easy. I had to enlist my husband’s hands to get the vinyl to lay right…so grab a friend!
You can leave it as is and just hang it on the wall, or you can lay it on a table and put tea lights on it for a cool effect.
