So…I’m jumping on the duct tape craze bandwagon! On the internet, I have seen anything from wallets, to jackets, to prom dresses – completely out of duct tape! I am baffled by the creativity that is out there in the world. So, I thought -why not a bow? I grabbed a couple of bright neon colors of duct tape from Hobby Lobby and here’s how I did it…
Start with a couple of colors of duct tape. You can even throw in a third color – if you’d like.
Cut a piece approximately 6-9 inches long, depending how big you’d like the bow.
Fold it in half, sticky sides together. Then, do the same with the contrasting color.
Make sure the contrasting color is a couple of inches shorter.
Cut a thin strip the same color as the longer piece.
Put the smaller piece on top of the bigger piece and pinch the center, then wrap the small strip around the middle and hot glue it to a hair clip. That’s it! So simple and fun.
Now, I need to look up how to make a duct tape flower…
Have a happy-crafty day!
