Here’s an easy way to dress up those tresses for the holidays with a little bit of “gobble!”
I made this cute little turkey hair bow for Madelyn this year and it’s already a hit! One of her school friends instantly requested it upon first glance, so I thought I would share with you!
I began with a 7″ strip of 1/2″ wide ribbon.
Put a loop in the top, like so…
Glue to secure, then make a slightly bigger loop with the remaining ribbon and glue to secure.
Then, cut out a tiny triangle of orange grosgrain ribbon and very careful burn the edges with a lighter and glue to the front of the smaller loop.
Next, cut 5 strips of 1/2″ colored ribbon to approximately 4″.
Glue each piece end to end so that it creates little loops.
Then glue the loops to the back of the turkey body, and add rhinestones for the eyes.
Isn’t he cute?!
