I am back from a brief pause in my posts. When eveything happened on Friday in Connecticut, I felt like posting one of my projects was sort of not important. I am coming back with an idea to give a special gift to those wonderful teachers in our lives that help shape our children’s minds and show them what true courage and love means. I am incredibly grateful for all of my daughter’s teachers-past and present.
My beautiful daughter is in Preschool and dance. For her age, not only do we have a main teacher, but several assistants. That’s a lot of Christmas and Holiday gitfts, so I found an easy way to create a unique gift and not break the bank.
I found clear tumblers online and bought Sharpie oil based paint pens.
I put my creativity hat on and painted the teacher’s name and even some fun curls and polka-dots.
Here’s our stash of 8:)
I collected lots of little lotions, hand sanitizers, lip glosses, and $5 gift cards to put inside.
I also found packs of ornaments from Wal-mart that would fit inside.
Add a bow and a hand-written card made of pretty scrapbook paper and you’re good to go!
Find a cup, paint it and fill it with whatever works for you!
Happy Holidays to all you teachers giving so much to our little ones:)
