Madelyn had a crazy hair day at dance class a few weeks ago and I wanted to share our crazy creation with you. She requested a pink cupcake, so we went to the craft store and let our imaginations soar!
Sorry for the poor picture quality – camera is busted and I a still trying to figure out what kind of camera I want…suggestions?
We found some fun cupcake papers at Hobby Lobby and I used about 5 of them together so that they would remain stiff and cut a hole in the bottom. Then, I fed the ponytail through the hole.
Then, tease the heck out of it!
Then, we sprayed the top with bright pink hair spray from Party City. Helpful hint – cover the cupcake paper and the top of the head with tissue to prevent spraying everything pink!
I used washable school glue to glue a red craft pom-pom to the top of the “cupcake.” Don’t worry, washable school glue will not damage hair. Tacky craft glue will work, also.
So, there you have it! Cupcake hair-do that rocks!
What kinds of crazy-do’s have you created for crazy hair day? I can’t wait for the next one:)
